The ySTART Program helps young people understand the consequences of an addiction. Combined with the PreventPak electronic simulator, this program focuses on decision-making, refusal, and communication skills to help young people remain tobacco free.
The program consists of six lessons that explore the physical, emotional, social and legal impact of tobacco use, and interactive exercises using the PreventPak electronic simulator. We recommend a two-day, take-home simulation for best results.

Red Balloon Energizer In-depth activity and discussion
Get students up on their feet and thinking about their immediate and long-term goals in life. They must keep their balloons aloft in order to succeed. But what happens when an addiction comes into the picture? The red balloon interferes with their dreams, and affects others as well. Eventually something gets dropped, and sometimes with tragic consequences.
