Our science-based program features RealCare® Baby – the world’s only computerized infant simulator that requires realistic care and reports on exactly how it was cared for. Realityworks infant simulators have been used around the world by educators in many fields to provide powerful, hands-on experiences, and teach valuable lessons.

The RealCare Baby infant simulation can be used for:

  • child development education
  • babysitter education
  • teen pregnancy prevention efforts
  • character-building programs
  • at-risk youth intervention
  • adoption counseling
  • prison rehabilitation

RealCare® Baby helps future parents become more confident, capable and attentive caregivers, and contributes to healthy babies, healthy families and healthy communities.

Two curricula are available:

  • Basic Infant Care Curriculum (standard with packages)
Designed for students, day care providers, babysitters or anyone caring for infants. Covers a wide range of infant care topics and offers many opportunities for hands-on activities with Babies for demonstrations and practice. Culminates with an extended infant care simulation.
  • RealCare Curriculum
Designed with the help of parenting and health educators with a parenting education focus. Sections dedicated to values and decision-making, goal setting, teen pregnancy prevention and preparing for the future. Also covers some infant care and child development topics. Flexible enough to use on its own or as a supplement to other curricula. Independent of any one educational approach—tailor your message accordingly.

The results of more than 20 published studies reveal what educators have shared with us all along... programs that include computerized infant simulators have a significantly greater positive effect on participants compared with programs that rely upon curricula alone.
